Lowther Estate has about 30 residential letting properties and four holiday cottages. These are located on a huge surface of three villages: Askham, Clifton and Hackthorpe, all within the Lake District National Park, situated near Penrith in Cumbria. The houses range from small cottages to spacious, five-bedroom farmhouses. Most of them are traditional buildings, the oldest dates from the 17th century. The Lowther Estate offers several types of sport for nature-lovers, such as walking, stalking, shooting and fishing. There are leisurely walks through the estate’s parkland, woodland and along the river. The estate is the perfect choice for nature-lovers!

Tissington Estate, Derbyshire

 

Tissington is a perfect example of a historic village. There are several cottages, pretty little duck ponds, idyllic lanes and a lot of trees in the village. The Tissington Estate became the seat of the Fitz-Herbert family around 1465. The Hall is open to the public and there are organized tours of the estate. The Nurse’s Cottage and the Hooper’s Barn are fine and charming lodges. The Hooper’s Barn used to be an unused agricultural building. It was modernized in 2010. This well furnished, pretty little cottage is ideal for 2 people.

Situated in the northernmost town of England, Benwick upon Tweed, Hutton Castle Coach House overlooks the River Whiteadder. The Coach House is a stone construction, the main building of it being constructed in the Victorian period. The house has been recently modernized and now provides high standard features. The house is surrounded by lawned areas and a kitchen garden. As for the accommodation, it comprises 3 reception rooms, 5 bedrooms, 2 kitchens, 1 utility room and 3 bathrooms.
