The United Kingdom is an astonishing country, owning some unique and breathtaking visitor attractions which range from historical places to cultural landmarks and wonderful natural jewels. Below I will give you some useful information relating to the most beautiful waterfalls in the UK.

Eas a’ Chual Aluinn

The wonderful Eas a’ Chual Aluinn is considered one of the highest waterfalls of the country and is located in Scotland. It reaches 200 m of height and is situated in the Scottish Highland, more precisely in Sutherland, near Assynt. To access the waterfall, the visitors have to make a 6 mile walk. If you are a lover of nature, willing to discover the natural wonders of the UK, I am sure you will enjoy the visit.

High Force

Considered one of the most beautiful waterfalls of the country, High Force can be found in England, more precisely in County Durham, making part of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The waterfall was formed where the Tees River crosses a layer of igneous rock. The beautiful waterfall is accessible by a private footpath for which visitors have to pay a fee.

Pistyll Rhaeadr

With no doubt one of the most famous and most beautiful waterfalls of the UK is Pistyll Rhaeadr. Located in Wales, the wonderful waterfall is very popular among visitors. It is also considered one of the tallest waterfalls of the country, making part of the Seven Wonders of Wales. There is a parking space and a café nearby the waterfall, dedicated to visitors.

Falls of Glomach

One of the highest and most beautiful waterfalls of the UK, the Falls of Glomach is situated Scotland. With its 113 m of height, it is an impressive natural jewel of the country. The waterfall is not easily accessible, but it is absolutely worth visiting it. If you are an adventurer, you can make an 8 km trek which takes you through wild countryside.

Steall Waterfall

The wonderful Steall Waterfall is one of the most beautiful waterfalls of the UK. Located in the Scottish Highlands, the waterfall is visible from Nevis Gorge. It is very popular among visitors partly due to the wilderness of the area.
